Incubation Cell


SRM has an incubation cell to promote entrepreneurial skills and business ideas. There are four incubates: robotics, web designing, IT and automation. These companies are profit making companies. They hire student interns to work for them. Besides space, the incubatees are given telephone, workstation, internet facility, common infrastructure for holding meetings and workshops. They are provided with net working opportunities, technical and non-technical mentoring and access to labs. Funding is provided on case to case basis. The four companies are

Yogiki

What started out as robotics club has now transformed into the harbinger in the field of Robotics and Embedded Systems. Today, we are a leader in the "next generation" of Educational robotics in India.
Yogiki defines, designs and delivers technology-enabled business solutions that help the students win in a Flat World. Our offerings span Educational Robotics, business and technology, application services, product engineering and Robotic infrastructure services.

Pixellate

Pixellete is a software based Graphical designing company that assists you in making several designs as you want or even to make your website. Pixellete works in making your imaginary designs come true. It also conducts various workshops for students to inculcate their skils in digital designing.

KVL Innovations

K. Mohan of E & I, a third year student of Kattankulathur campus is heading this company and he has won seven national awards and six state awards.

Vilikh Technologies

Vilikh Technologies started their first venture "CATSystems" in January 2010. CATSystems provided technical training in the field of embedded systems and robotics. For better development tools in embedded and robotics in India, they created an online techshop and open source hardware business in partnership with foreign companies and its customers range from hobbyists, students, researchers to organizations like Microsoft INDIA, Broadcast Engineering India Ltd. Several workshops were conducted for engineering students in open source hardware. Vilikh technologies was selected among the Top 30 Student Startups in India by NEN (National Entrepreneurship network).
